Abs Exercise #25: Side Bridge
The side bridge is a simple exercise for the abs that can be performed without any special equipment.
Here is the proper way to perform the side bridge:
- Start by lying on your side and then pushing up with your right arm.
- Raise yourself up and down while keeping the abs contracted.
- Swap over to the left arm and then continue the exercise.
- Do a set on each side of the body and aim for 15-20 reps.
Things to remember when doing the side bridge:
- Take is slowly and produce concise movements.
- To add another dimension to the exercise you can hold the position at the top of the movement.
