The “Gold Medal Abs” are a set of nine flat stomach exercises developed by Olympic trainers.
Women’s Health Magazine suggests doing these exercises three nonconsecutive days a week. The idea is then to make the 9 exercises into a stand-alone routine or add a few each day to the end of your normal weights or fitness sessions.
The recommendation is to start with one set for each movement and once you can complete all the reps with perfect form, add another set. The workout is designed to give you a well rounded flat stomach abs workout. The exercise works through the lower abs, upper abs, obliques and lower back. Basically the entire core! The exercises are:

1. Hanging Straight-Leg Raise
2. Toe Touch
3. The Sprinter
4. Walking Lunge Plate Twist
5. Twisting Windmill
6. Superman Variations
7. Bar Crunch
8. Hammer Toss
9. The Wicked Wiper
